If you want to delete your Trak account and remove your associated data, you may do so at any time.
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your Trak account directly from within the app:
Open the Trak app
Go to your Profile page
Tap Delete Account
Confirm the deletion
Once confirmed, your account enters a secure deletion process.
What Happens After Deletion
When you delete your account:
•Your personal information (name, username, email, birthdate, country, city, currency, phone number if provided) is removed from Trak's systems.
•Your private tasks, groceries, events, reminders, expenses, and personal data are permanently deleted.
•Group content you created (tasks, expenses, events, messages) may remain visible to other group members, but your identifying information will be removed and replaced with an anonymous label (e.g., "Deleted User").
•Backups containing your data may remain for a limited period (up to 30 days) but are automatically purged.

If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion manually, email us at:

Please include the email tied to your Trak account.
We will verify your identity and process the deletion.
What Data Is Retained and Why
Trak removes all personal identifiers. However, the following may be temporarily retained:
•Server logs (for security, automatically deleted according to retention schedules)
•Group content already visible to other users, which is preserved to maintain their records
•Legal retention requirements, depending on your region (e.g., fraud prevention)
No retained data can be used to identify you after deletion.
How Long Deletion Takes
•In-app deletion is immediate, and your data is removed from active systems.
•Backups are cleared within 30 days.
•Email-based requests are processed within 7 days.
